Neostex Plus Hand antiseptic liquid

PROPERTIES
  - Quick and complete disinfection of hands with no rinsing.
  - High microbiological effectiveness and a broad spectrum of action:
              
                 Bactericide

                 Mycobactericide

Highly active against multi-resistant bacteria, both gram + and gram-
(Acinetobacter, Clostridium, Klebsiella, etc.)

Does not become inactive in the presence of organic matter.

Hydrates, protects and cares for the skin, short- and long-term.

Prolonged residual effect.

Does not cause dermal irritation or sensitivity, due both to the active ingredient
and its low alcohol content.

Not harmful if swallowed or inhaled or due to contact with the skin.

It is not carcinogenic, teratogenic or toxic to the environment.

COMPOSITION
2-butanone peroxide (2%) in a hydroalcoholic solution with 35% alcohol.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Disinfection of the hands. Apply at least 3 ml of product to clean, dry and
healthy hands. Extend and thoroughly impregnate the surface of hands by rubbing
until completely evaporated. Do not rinse or dry with a towel.

Surgical disinfection of hands and forearms. Apply at least 10 ml of product
to the clean, dry and healthy skin of hands and forearms.
Extend and thoroughly impregnate the entire skin surface by rubbing until completely
evaporated. Do not rinse or dry with a towel. Complies with the UNE EN
12791 standard.

Neostex Plus has successfully passed the tests of use of the product for the hygienic
treatment of hands by rubbing (UNE-EN 1500).

All the tests of activity, effectiveness and toxicity to which the active ingredient
has been subjected are specified below:

Determination of bactericidal activity,
standard UNE-EN-1276 (phase 2/step 1).

Determination of fungicidal activity,
standard UNE-EN-1275 (phase 2/step 1).

Determination of fungicidal activity,
standard UNE-EN-1650 (phase 2/step 1).

Determination of viricidal activity,
standard E-1053-97 of the ASTM.

Determination of mycobactericidal activity,
standard UNE-EN-14348 (phase 2/step 1).

Acute dermal irritation test (Draize skin test), Health Effects Test Guidelines of the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), EPA standard OPPTS 870.2500, showing no signs of skin erythema or edema.

Dermal sensitivity test, Health Effects Test Guidelines of the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), EPA standard OPPTS 870.2600.

Effectiveness tests of the finished product for the hygienic treatment of
hands by rubbing, European standard EN-1500 (phase 2/step 2).

Surgical washing of hands, standard UNE-EN12791 (phase 2/step 2).
