Nusa Penida is an island in the southeast of the island of Bali in Indonesia and a district in Klungkung Regency which includes a small neighboring island in Nusa Lembongan. Badung Strait separates the island and Bali. The interior of Nusa Penida is hilly with a maximum height of 524 meters. It is drier than the nearby island of Bali.
