The Company has attached great importance to R&D of new products and built long-term cooperation with several academic institutions like Zhengzhou University, Wuhan University of Science &Technology, Shanxi University of Science &Technology and Henan University of Science &Technology. It established "Engineering Research Center of Fused Cast Refractories of Zhengzhou", which was co-conferred as a provincial technology center by Henan DRC and other authorities. The company owns over 50 intellectual property patents and has developed alpha-beta alumina blocks, fused cast chimney blocks, combined corundum blocks, energy-saving materials for arc furnaces, etc.
The company possesses 181 sets of major manufacturing facilities, among which there are 5 advanced electric arc furnaces, PLC integrated operating systems that could store, analyze and intelligently adjust processing parameters like voltages, currents, etc.. One experiment furnace is set mainly for R&D of new products. Machining workshops have 33 high precision grinding machines, 8 cutting machines and 3 drilling machines. The testing center is equipped with X-ray fluorescence analyzer, high-sensitive electro-balance, infra-red high temperature thermo scope, flame photometer, visible spectrophotometer, high temperature electric resistance furnace, magnetic stirrer, planetary ball mill, etc.. And, to secure power supply, it also built a 35KV transformer substation with RMB3,000,000.
