Groomed Trail was made to be used as a centralized tool, for snowmobilers and outdoor enthusiasts, to accurately plan trips based on distance, trail schedule, conditions, local points of interest and to also book accommodations. Additionally, we have integrated forums, news, events and classified sections into the site, to inspire additional cooperation within the Groomed Trail community.
We have also included a function to upload and save your own GPS trail data for trip preparation, sharing with other Groomed Trail members, as well as for historical reference.
The website is 100% crowdsourced, implying that all subscribed users have the ability to submit a trail report, or report specific conditions of a trail segment. By crowdsourcing this kind of information, it will help always keep the community ready to any problems that may affect their safety, or may help aid their decisions with trip planning.
