The lift buffer is the last protection measure in the elevator mechanical safety device. Lift car buffer is a safety device that relieves the impact force of an elevator when it falls out of
control. Buffer in elevator is generally in the bottom of elevator cabin and counterweight. Panda Elevator offers our clients with elevator oil buffers and rubber buffers for different project
applications.
Lift/Elevator Buffer Types
There are mainly two elevator buffer types available in Panda Elevator: elevator oil buffer&elevator polyurethane buffer. Both types of elevator buffer serve the same purpose of protecting the
elevator and passengers from damage. The selection of the buffer in elevator depends on the type of building and the elevator's speed and size.
Oil Buffer
Oil buffer, also called hydraulic buffer. It is mostly suitable for elevator projects with large load and high speed.
Rubber Buffer
Rubber buffer, the material is mainly polyurethane. It is generally used in projects which the elevator speed is within 1m/s.
1. Scope of application: Rubber elevator polyurethane buffer is one of the vital elevator safety components that can only be used for elevators with rated speeds not greater than 1m/s, elevator oil
buffer can be used for elevators with any rated speed.
2. Production qualification and identification: There should be a nameplate or label on the lift car buffer, indicating the elevator components supplier name, model, specification and certificate
number.
3. Fixing situation: The deviation between the center of the elevator car and the counterweight collision plate and the center of the elevator hydraulic buffer should not be more than 20 mm.
4. Electrical switch: After the elevator hydraulic buffer is actuated, the elevator can run normally only when buffer returns to its normal extension position.
5. Elevator car buffer distance requirements: A permanent and obvious sign should be set near the counterweight lift car buffer to indicate the maximum allowable vertical distance between the
counterweight device strike plate and the top surface of the elevator car buffer when the car is at the top station.
There are many elevator parts manufacturers, but we are one of the best choices for you.
