GRADE : SFTGFOP1 - It has a palish yellow tint and a fine mellow flavour with a fruity aftertaste.

"This Garden is located in a valley called the Darjeeling East Valley in the district of Darjeeling . It is overlooked by Kanchenjunga in the north and the state of Sikkim lies in the vicinity. At an elevation of 1,500 ft. to 2,800 ft. MSL, this garden enjoys the standard of ISO 9002 and falls under a rain shadow.
From a planted area of 187 hectares, it produces 152,954 kgs of speciality green teas per annum. This estate has earned the distinction of producing both types of Darjeeling Green teas for the first time and the feature has enabled the producers to attract overwhelming number of foreign buyers from all corners of the world. The tea bushes cultivated consist of China hybrid, Assam hybrid and Darjeeling clonal, which are conducive to the agro-climatic conditions of the region."
