Product Introduction
The automatic pressure release damper/opening, which is a part of gas fire-extinguishing system and closed status at ordinary times, is installed on the wall and/or the ceiling in the protected area. When the gas fire-extinguishing system is in use, there will produce the pressure more than allowed pressure of buildings in the protected area. At this time, the automatic pressure release damper will release the overpressure and guarantee the protected area. When the pressure drop, the pressure release damper will be closed and guarantee the airtight of protected area, to meet the requirement of fire-extinguishing.
Description
Gas fire-extinguishing system has many advantages, such as higher extinguishment efficiency, lower extinguishment concentration, clean and no pollution, etc. So, it is used to more
and more important places. In order to ensure success of extinguishment, the area where is protected by gas fire-extinguishing system should be kept as closed status in the process of the release
of the extinguishment. In this way, it can guarantee the concentration of extinguishment (namely the extinguishing property), and the integrality of doors & windows and structures in the protected
area. The nation standard GB50370-2005 < Code for design of gas fire
extinguishing systems>, carried out from May 1st 2006, has clearly defined the pressure release damper installed in the protected
area in the items of 3.2.7, 3.2.8, and 3.2.9.

After installation of automatic pressure release damper, it will be opened to release pressure automatically when the pressure in the protected area reaches the set value (The set
value can be set according to client’s requirements. Generally, it is 1000Pa or 1100Pa±50Pa). It will be closed when the pressure drop in the protected area.
For the model choosing of automatic pressure release damper, the area of protected area can be calculated out according to gas fire-extinguishing systems design standard, and then,
choose one and more among different models as the calculated area.
