Polyhedron empty ball is a spherical random packing made of polyvinyl chloride. It is composed by two hemispheres which have 12 semi-fan-shaped blades and these blades are mutually staggered. Polyhedron empty ball has large specific surface area, small density, high flooding point and high void volume. Being heat-resisting and chemical-resistant, polyhedron empty ball is commonly used in water treatment project. Its applicable range of temperature is 60 - 150 °C.
