Materials and Structures:
Light duty bar gratings are manufactured from low carbon steel, stainless steel or aluminum steel. It is joined at the intersection of the bearing bars and cross bars. Light duty bar grating ranges in size from 3/4" x 3/16" to 2 1/2" x 3/16".
Uses:
Light duty grating panels can find applications in roof safety, conveyor system, operating plants, highways and bridge platforms and walkways, machinery floors, refineries, tank stairways and power plants.

Stainless steel light duty grating is also available for specific applications.
The finish can be galvanized or manufacturer's standard black paint at the discretion of the architect. It can also be painted by request.

Manufacturing tolerances:

Cross bar alignment and spacing
Cross bar shall not vary more than 1/8" in 12" either direction from perpendicular alignment with bearing bars.

Overall dimensions and placing:
Width is overall lengths of cross bars at opposite ends of panels.
