Introduction of Spiral Classifier:

Spiral classifier, working with ore mills to form close circulation in the concentrating plant, whose classification process depends on the sedimentation velocity of the particles. Its external appearance is a rectangular oblique chute, whose bottom is semi-circular. Our spiral classifiers are widely used in the distribution of ore in closed circuits with ball mills, grading ore and fine slit in gravity mills, grading granularity and flow of metal ore-dressing, and ore-sliming and dehydrating in washing.

Spiral Classifier Application:

♦ Form a closed circulation with the ball grinder for ore-sand separation in the ore separation plant;

♦ Classify ore sand and fine sludge in gravity ore separation plant;

Spiral Classifier Operation Principle:

Fine ore pulps are fed into water tank through feeding opening located in the center of settling zone. Beneath the inclined water tank is the ore pulp classification zone where ore pulps are stirred by low-speeded impellers. Fine ore particles are lifted up and then spilled out the overflow opening; coarse ore particles precipitate down to tank bottom and are discharged via discharge opening.
